The war in Ukraine has been going on for three years now. During this time, thousands of innocent people have lost their lives, and many continue to suffer from daily shelling by the Russian army, targeting civilians.
This brutal and bloody war has no meaning other than satisfying Putin’s ambitions, the purpose of which remains unclear.
It is painful to realize that tens of thousands of people have lost their homes, their loved ones, and some—their very lives—under the fire of shells.
How many fates have been shattered, how many lives has this war taken—all for the interests of one man who is indifferent to human suffering?
I want to believe that this nightmare will soon come to an end, that long-awaited peace will finally prevail, and that no more lives will be lost because of Putin’s dictatorship.
